iMovie says videos are published merely not showing on youtube
I am having the same trouble. I have been uploading for a over a year with no issues. I recently uploaded several videos and the imovie goes through the whole procedure, even saying published to youtube. I get the choice to view the video but when I click on that it takes me directly to my aqueduct page.
I fabricated sure the videos were not private and it has been days and they nonetheless are not at that place. 1 did post only that was all. I have repeatedly uploaded them to the melody of five times and they are merely non in that location! I am on a macbookpro which is the same computer I have used the whole time. Please can anyone help?
I chiliad new here and cannot find how to begin a thread. I can just meet the post reply tin anyone aid.

merely published my 1st video with imovie 09 (which is crawly) been 1 hour and nothing has come upwards
I tin can never trust imovie to upload it!!!
imovie 08 would sometime time out doing it
why do they include this feature if it doesnt piece of work.......hope mine shows upward soon

Shortening the title doesn't seem to be the outcome, I tried it. I've successfully shared to YouTube from iMovie '08, only now iMovie says it's published... and information technology isn't. I thought Snow Leopard was the culprit, just I come across from the historic period of this thread that it happened under prior OSs. Result? I uploaded "Yo! What Exit?" (my melody, with added road-trip video) the old-fashioned style: manually at YouTube.

I am having the aforementioned consequence. The last ii movies I accept uploaded to YouTube from iMovie 08 take just never showed upwardly. I have been posting 100'southward of video's and the final just nothing. I am clueless on what to to do fix the issue.

i have had the same trouble as well. I really was able to follow the link to the actual video but when i went to my dwelling house page it said i have uploaded 0 videos and this was over 2 months ago

iMovie To Youtube
When I first tried this, it worked fine. I recently had some trouble with iMovie and had to reload my original iLife and so update with iLife '09 again. I tried uploading a video to youtube and it went through the process and and then said it's been uploaded to youtube, view or tell a friend. I click view, and it'due south non in my youtube uploads. I tried it several times, going back to iMovie and removing the upload to youtube and reloading it to youtube...aforementioned outcome, it'due south not uploading to youtube.
I made a copy of my videos to a folder and uploaded directly on the youtube site. This seems to have worked. But Information technology would be prissy to know why I tin't do it on iMovie anymore...

Same problem hither with imovie 09. The youtube forums are filled with people having the same problems. Lesser line is that imovie either does non work for this or is inconsistent. The solution is as follows:
- Export video to a folder in the size/format you want.
- Then apply the youtube uploader to upload.
I tried this and my video appeared within minutes of upload.

Yeap - same problem here. Uploaded one a few days ago and it was fine. Tried a 2.five minute video upload yesterday - everything points to a successful upload on iMovie but it doesn't appear on Y'all Tube. The visit tab takes me to my uploads but it's non there. No error letters or anything! It's similar You Tube no longer have iMovie upload mechanism?
Got the aforementioned problem, im gonna upload directly , i simply wanna observe out how to lower the video size

Same problem attempt this
I too used iMovie to upload first ane worked fine then 30 mins later cypher. Got message saying uploaded but hadnt. One affair was to delete the youtube password entered in iMovie then enter it over again each time you upload. Not certain but this allowed another upload. Bit of a pain to kep having to do this but keeps the convenience of using iMovie to upload.

i accept done information technology atleast ten times and never had a trouble on iMovie 09

I'chiliad using iLife 11 and iMovie 11. The starting time three times I uploaded a video to YouTube at that place were no issues - worked like a precious stone. But and so I don't know if Apple did an update or what, but always since the outset three I accept the same trouble as discussed in this thread.
iMovie 11 says it uploaded the video, but the video never shows upward. According to a thread nigh this in the Google forums, Google says this is an Apple issue. It would exist nice to have that function working once again.

Stock-still - Long names/symbol errors
I was having the same problem too - iMovie eleven said that information technology uploaded but and so it never showed up on the Youtube website under my business relationship.
I stumbled across this page and read the mail service that mentioned long title names as a possible culprit.
Well I went back to my video in iMovie and uploaded information technology with nada but the letter of the alphabet 'g' in the Title section and left Description and Tags blank. Then the upload went off without a hitch!
My original Title was both long and had symbols (+_*&. I had data in the description and tag areas too just didn't do enough testing to encounter the limits. I will edit all the info on the website afterward information technology'due south uploaded - and of course - your milage may vary...

Here's what to exercise, I've simply tested this and it solves it. Do NOT type quote marks in your tags in iMovies you lot tube consign window. They fail to exist recognised by you lot tube and it rejects the video. To be on the rubber side, input your tags in the editing folio on you tube. I've tested this today and every video with quote marks in the tags fails. Take quote marks out and they show straight away in you tube. Allow me know how you go on

I had the same event with iMovie '11. I could upload some movies, simply ane in item would say information technology uploaded, but it would never show up on my Youtube videos page. Later reading Jaminist's mail about the quotation marks, I went back and noticed I had quotation marks around a word in the title of that specific iMovie project. I removed the quotation marks and re-uploaded. It immediately showed up on Youtube as processing, and within a few minutes the video was available. Great find Jaminist! Thank you for posting!

What if the quotation marks is Not the event?
I am having the same trouble with my version of iMovie. I see it seems to happen with several. Up to 2 days agone, I was uploading video after video on youtube no trouble. And then suddenly, yesterday, I get through the whole process and it tells me all is fine as usual, except that instead of a usual new youtube url for my video, I become a url that goes to my channel. I tried again several times and then tried with a brand new video and the aforementioned happened.
I take no quotation marks whatsoever in whatever function of the moving-picture show championship or tags or anything.
Anybody can assistance? Please?
